Langley Bookend

This dignified, imposing object has two modes of being – modernist sculpture and utilitarian accessory. Sand-cast in gunmetal bronze and weighing 10 kilograms, it can support the heftiest of editions. Because Langley Bookends are manufactured in small batches, slight variations will occur from one piece to another; production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. The original finish will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. If preferred, use a quality metal polish to restore brightness. モダニズムの彫刻と実用的なアクセサリーという2つの顔を持つこのオブジェ。ガンメタルブロンズで砂型鋳造されており、重さは10kg。重厚感のある作品です。 少量ごとに製造されているため、ひとつひとつの作品に微々たる違いが見られます。 使っているうちに、時間の経過で酸化して黒くなり、独特のパティナ（古色）が見られるようになります。お好みで、金属磨きでお手入れしていただいてもかまいません。 オーストラリアのシドニーで製造、仕上げ、研磨されています。 ※ラングレー・ブックエンドは単品販売です。
